SINGAPORE - The race to cater to Singaporeans' hunger for premium ingredients is leading suppliers to seek out ever more unusual products.

In the premium beef market, it is no longer enough to sell Wagyu, which is beef from Japanese cows; or boast that the steaks are dry-aged.
