The spat between national marathoner Soh Rui Yong and teammate Ashley Liew has seen a new development, with the latter now saying that he had "never stated or claimed or otherwise represented" that his act of sportsmanship at the 2015 SEA Games men's marathon final "could have cost him a medal", as stated in media reports in 2015.
A legal reply sent to Soh by Liew's lawyers from That.Legal LLC yesterday also noted he had not stated or claimed to have slowed down "to a crawl", according to the same reports.
