SINGAPORE - Two pedestrian-only zones (POZ) will be set up at Khatib Central and Bedok Town Centre in the coming months to improve safety for pedestrians in these areas, down from the five zones initially planned.

Cyclists and users of personal mobility devices (PMDs) must dismount when crossing these zones, which were first announced by Senior Minister of State for Transport Lam Pin Min in August last year, amid mounting concerns about the use of e-scooters.
