SINGAPORE - There is sufficient space for the homeless in shelters, which saw a surge of people seeking refuge during the two-month-long circuit breaker period that ended on June 1.

About 85 per cent of the 700 spaces at the Safe Sound Sleeping Places were occupied as of July 10, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) spokesman told The Straits Times.
