4 more deaths from dengue, cases surpass 13,500 this year

SINGAPORE - Four more people have died of dengue, bringing the total number of deaths this year from the viral infection to 16, as of last Tuesday (June 23).

The Ministry of Health (MOH) told The Straits Times that those who died were between the ages of 49 and 82, and 14 of them worked or resided in active dengue clusters.
