Arbitration draws more players from abroad to S'pore as more growth expected

SINGAPORE - Singapore's standing as a leading international arbitration powerhouse has drawn more law firms from abroad with arbitration practices to set up office here.

The number of foreign law firms in Singapore with arbitration as one of their practice areas rose to 57 in December 2021 from 39 in December 2019, accounting for close to 40 per cent of all foreign law practices in Singapore, said a Law Ministry spokesman recently.
