The recent move by DBS Bank to train staff to spot and help customers with dementia is one of multiple initiatives in recent years to give those with the disease the chance to continue with their lifestyles and live independently.
With a fast-ageing population and more people expected to develop dementia, the Government and social service agencies have been working hard at raising awareness and supporting those with the disease over the past few years.
