BERLIN • For Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel it is probably one of the most difficult decisions to take: whether to let Chinese tech company Huawei into the lucrative market of building a 5G network - or not.

It is a no-win situation - whichever way she decides, Germany risks retaliation from either China or the United States.
