We thank Mr Danny Yeo for his feedback (Overuse of Mandarin at community event, Nov 22).

We agree with Mr Yeo that community events should be inclusive. For most of our community activities, emcees will address residents in more than one language. 

We will continue to be mindful in our future programming.
