Just over 15 years from its launch in January 2009, Bitcoin – the world’s leading crypto asset – has now gone mainstream.

On Jan 10, after about a decade of holding back, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) finally gave the green light for spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), in which Bitcoin is the underlying asset, to be traded on US exchanges.
