Charlize Theron plays a 6,000-year-old warrior in The Old Guard, a film about a band of immortal mercenaries who have secretly protected the world for centuries. Then their inability to die is exposed and they become targets themselves.

The bone-crunching fight scenes in the movie, which premieres on Netflix on July 10, are nothing new for the Oscar-winning star (Monster, 2003), who has battled her way through action flicks such as Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and Atomic Blonde (2017).
