The Game Of Thrones star says the physical comedy required for her role in Last Christmas is a good fit for her real personality

You might not guess it watching her scowl, wrangle dragons or burn a city to the ground in Game Of Thrones (2011 to 2019), but in person, actress Emilia Clarke is impressively warm, funny and quite a goofball.

So while some fans of the fantasy juggernaut will do a double take seeing her in the romantic comedy Last Christmas - which requires her to sing, dress up as a Christmas elf and do physical comedy - the British star says it was a good fit for her real personality.
