SINGAPORE - My partner’s two-year-old cocker spaniel Popcorn was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia, a degenerative joint disease where the ball and socket of the hip joint grind against each other because they do not fit properly.

Popcorn got started on physiotherapy once every fortnight, which costs about $120 per session.
