NEW DELHI - A month since the Indian government's online purge blocking 59 Chinese apps, including the wildly popular TikTok, users in India have lapped up other apps from China that have emerged as popular alternatives to those that were banned.
This includes Zili, a video-sharing app developed by Chinese publisher Xiaomi, which has established itself as one of the top three alternatives to TikTok; the homegrown Roposo and US-based Dubsmash are the other two.
