SINGAPORE - Ms Suzana Ahmad voted for the first time in Malaysia’s general election in November.

It was not easy for the 18-year-old private university student to decide whom to vote for, but she eventually went with her parents’ preference – Perikatan Nasional (PN), the Muhyiddin Yassin-led coalition that appeared to have many social media influencers’ endorsement.
