JAKARTA – Agreements signed last week by Singapore and Indonesia reflect good bilateral ties that will extend beyond both the current leaders’ terms. They also show how the two nations are keen to break new ground in their relations, experts told The Straits Times.

At the Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat last Friday, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Indonesian President Joko Widodo witnessed the exchange of six memoranda of understanding (MOUs).
