Malaysia to invest $222m to upgrade Johor checkpoints to ease congestion

KUALA LUMPUR - The Malaysian government has approved an allocation of RM741.3 million (S$222.1 million) to upgrade the Johor checkpoints at the Causeway and Second Link to resolve congestion issues.

On Monday, Deputy Finance Minister Ahmad Maslan announced the approval of upgrading projects for the two checkpoint complexes that connect to Singapore in Woodlands and Tuas.
